Basketry variety. Growth starts green and turns to purple-red with blue-green leaves. Stems turn greener in winter. Dried rods are a dark purple-red. Beautiful, even growth, greenery is lovely in bouquets. Rods are versatile and supple weavers. This is one of my favourites, it has a gentle personality in the garden and many uses.
